We register the number with the operator, usually within 1 business day and no later than 48 hours; the fee is charged only after activation. SMS from the number go only to Czech numbers and have no delivery reports; receiving SMS was verified on the O2 network, and we do not guarantee verification codes from services.
Number in another country
A landline or national number in a country of your choice that people can call and that your agent answers. The number is for calls only, with no SMS: it neither receives nor sends them.

The number calls out only to the country of the number and to Czechia; calling the country of the number is switched on separately for each country, and the list of your numbers shows where each one calls. We register it with the operator in the name of the provider with an address in that country, usually within 1 business day and no later than 3 business days (within the hour for countries without registration), and the fee is charged only after activation. Calls are billed at the usual rates. You see the current list of countries and the price of a number in each of them when you order, and we keep extending it.
Gate ring
One request rings a GSM gate, lock or box from your number, and the call is never connected. Your number must be on the gate's list of allowed numbers.

- How much do 1,000 minutes and 1,000 SMS cost?
- 1,000 minutes of outbound calls come to 920.00 kr (≈ 33.45 GBP) (≈ 38.33 EUR), 1,000 SMS to 1,360.00 kr (≈ 49.45 GBP) (≈ 56.67 EUR) - 2,280.00 kr (≈ 82.91 GBP) (≈ 95.00 EUR) together, excluding VAT. Billing is per second, so shorter calls cost proportionally less.
- How much does a minute with the voice agent cost?
- The call rate plus the agent surcharge: an inbound call with the agent comes to 3.00 kr (≈ 0.11 GBP) (≈ 0.13 EUR) per minute, an outbound one to 3.42 kr (≈ 0.12 GBP) (≈ 0.14 EUR). Speech recognition, the voice and the model are all included - nothing else to assemble.
- Do I pay for a number even when it is not in use?
- Yes, 25.00 kr (≈ 0.91 GBP) (≈ 1.04 EUR) a month per voice number, deducted from your credit. You can release a number at any time and the fee stops. A number from the welcome credit stays yours while you use the account; if you have not topped up and do not use the account, we release it after an e-mail notice, and your account, agent and credit stay.
- Can I have calls and SMS on the same number?
- Yes, with the calls and SMS number: a Prague landline number for 49.00 kr (≈ 1.78 GBP) (≈ 2.04 EUR) excluding VAT per 30 days that people can call and text, and that your agent places calls and sends SMS from (SMS from the number cost 2.50 kr (≈ 0.09 GBP) (≈ 0.10 EUR) per segment). - Topped-up credit never expires. You top up by card in amounts of 200 kr, 500 kr, 1,000 kr, 2,000 kr, and after verifying your email you get 50 kr to try things out for free.
- Does Twilio work for Czech phone numbers too?
- Yes, but a Czech local number needs a regulatory bundle of documents that has to be approved - see the Twilio comparison page for details. With volai the number is active right after purchase.
